Milford, New Hampshire [14 May 2019]— Warrior Support Solutions, LLC, has promoted Melinda Tourangeau to be its next president and CEO effective May 1, 2019, thus commencing the company’s status as a Woman-Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business.

“Positioning WSS as a Woman-Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business expands the firm’s government contract opportunities in the field of electronic warfare and electromagnetic spectrum operations,” remarked Melinda Tourangeau, upon accepting her appointment. “Additionally, the new status enhances the value of our industry partnering program.”

Since the founding of Warrior Support Solutions as a consulting company in 2015, the firm has provided subject matter expertise in EW and EMSO to the U.S. Air Force, the DoD, industry, and academia, for mutual benefit. With the recent conclusion of the EW/EMS Superiority Enterprise Capability Collaboration Team (ECCT) (https://warriorss.com/april-2019/#SDPE), the requirements for EW expertise have expanded greatly, compelling WSS to expand its operations. Appointing Melinda as president frees up Mr. Steve “Tango” Tourangeau to continue contributing EW subject matter expertise while Melinda and her staff work to establish additional government contract opportunities, a facilities security office, and hire more employees.

Melinda brings over 32 years’ experience to her role as president and CEO. She completed her Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (EE) at Georgia Tech in 1988. At the same time, she was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force and served as an officer in the research labs at Wright Patterson AFB. She obtained her Master of Science in EE from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in 1992, and her MBA in High Technology and Innovation from Northeastern University in 2000. Melinda completed 52 hours of coursework toward her doctorate in Leadership and Learning, thus enabling her to bring a wealth of knowledge in leadership, program management, and company operations to the position. Melinda and Tango make a great team driven by their mission to support the warfighter, seeing that the most suitable EW technologies make their way to the battlefield.
